定语从句中，关系词在从句中作一个成分，如：
This is the news that makes them happy. （这里的that makes them happy是定语从句，修饰the news。that在从句中作主语）
而同位语从句中，关系词在从句中不作成分，从句是所修饰词的内容，如：
They were delighted at the news that their team had won. (这里的that their team had won就是同位语，跟the news指的是同一个东西。是the news的内容)
